Who We Are
HIPAA LINK is a newly-launched telehealth platform, including integrated EMDR features under the direction of Captain Alicia Richmond, a Clinical Social Worker, Retired Combat Veteran from the U.S. Army, and Co-Founder of HIPAALINK.net Inc.
CPT Richmond (RET) has successfully treated thousands of soldiers, veterans, and civilians, often using EMDR to treat trauma.
Capt. Alicia C. Richmond, USA, Ret.
Co-Founder
“Over the past 23 years, I specialized in the treatment of trauma related to negative/traumatic experiences. Served in Afghanistan as a Behavioral Health Officer before being honorably discharged as a disabled Army Combat Veteran.
At that time, and now more than ever, Telehealth was an invaluable tool to reach our Service Members who were located in travel restricted areas. Just as these brave men and women needed remote care, so do our civilians who live in rural and low-income populations. Today, I continue to work with a diverse population including veterans who are working through complex trauma.
I never imagined in a million years that I would be part of something as special as launching a telehealth application, but after having served over 13,000 Service Members in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, it was clear to me that what we do is meaningful, honorable, and life changing.”
Sandi Christiansen
VP of Relationship Management
“I pride myself on my professionalism and experience, but most importantly I have been told over and over again that I am relatable, approachable, and non-judgmental. I bring that to my clients, and I bring that to all of HIPAA LINK’s partners. The spirit of empowerment and confidence I bring to my clients is what HIPAA LINK brings through its platform, which was designed and created by therapists for therapists.”
